2012年6月27日-29日，国际隧道与地下空间协会（ITA-AITES）、俄罗斯联邦区域发展部等联合举办的“城市地下空间利用国际论坛” （International Forum on Use of Underground Space as a Public Policy Tool for Sustainable Urbanisation）在俄罗斯圣彼得堡市召开。

国际隧道与地下空间协会（ITA-AITES）执行总裁Olivier Vion、国际隧道与地下空间协会地下空间委员会主席Han Admiraal、International journal Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology主编R. L.Sterling教授、麻省理工学院（MIT）土木与环境系主任A. J.WHITTLE教授、瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院（EPFL）A.Parriaux教授、我会常务理事、南京大学李晓昭教授等应邀作大会主题报告。会后主题报告专家经讨论决定，共同合作撰写一篇论文。
