| The International Symposium on Underground Freight Transport (ISUFT) is a biennial meeting of international experts working in the field of underground freight transportation systems including capsule pipelines and other tube/tunnel systems. The first ISUFT was held in Columbia, Missouri, U.S.A., in 1999, hosted by the University of Missouri-Columbia. The second was held in Delft, the Netherlands, in 2000, hosted by the Delft University of Technology. The 3rd was held in Bochum, Germany, 2002, hosted by the Ruhr University of Bochum. The 4th Symposium, was held in Shanghai, China, 2005, hosted jointly by the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and the Chinese Society of Civil Engineering. |
